Caves St Remy - DESOM
in Remich

Since 1925, the family tradition has been carried on at CAVES ST REMY-DESOM in Remich, with four generations ensuring the continuity of the business.
The family business was founded at the beginning of the 20th century.
Having started out as wine wholesalers, the family quickly decided to produce its own vintages, certain of the potential offered by the Luxembourg wine-growing region.
In 1925, it set up the Caves St Remy cellars in a magnificent 19th-century building in Remich. Over the years, the buildings have been altered and extended on numerous occasions. The family's wine estate has gradually expanded and now includes over 18 hectares spread across the Luxembourg Moselle's most renowned hillsides.
This progress has never diluted the initial family ethos of a company that strives to honour its legacy while retaining the ability to reassess and improve without ever losing touch with its heritage.
A good terroir, while essential, is worth nothing without human expertise and effort.
In addition to its own crop from the family estate, Caves Desom now also makes wine using grapes grown in a forty-hectare area and supplied by independent Moselle winegrowers.
Brothers Albert and Georges Desom and Albert's son, Marc Desom currently manage the company's operations and business.
