Description

Melt-in-the-mouth vegetables and pieces of lamb shoulder stewed with discreet spices, for a recipe full of sunshine.

The tagine is a kind of stewed stew originating in the Maghreb and much appreciated in the West. Our lamb tagine combines tender pieces of lamb shoulder, delicately preserved sunny vegetables, a few raisins and melting apricots and a blend of sweet and fragrant spices.

Serving suggestions: To be reheated in a traditional oven, or 3 minutes in the microwave.

The tagine is traditionally eaten on its own as a single dish, but it can also be served with steamed wheat semolina, lemony and drizzled with olive oil.
We recommend that you serve it with a chilled rosé wine.
