At 125 years old, the Maroquinerie is one of the oldest family businesses still operating in Luxembourg City. The business, which was founded in 1898 by Mrs. François Keller-Gomand, was initially located in the avenue de la Gare as a general store.
They are no longer all made of leather:
Suitcases are now mostly made of plastic, and you can find bags of both types. It is mainly the small accessories such as wallets and belts that are still made of leather today. But what sets shopping at Maroquinerie Keller apart from shopping at franchise stores is above all the customer service: "You don't want to carry your new suitcase and still have it at home in the evening? No problem. We'll deliver it to your home."
