Our company was founded in 2000 by the owner Serge Milbert as Optik Réimech. This after he had completed his training as Gradué en Optique-Optoimétrie in Brussels at the IORT with subsequent internship and got a permanent job at Optique Steffen in Esch. In 2003 we moved to the current premises and in 2006 we changed the name to Optique Milbert. In 2018 we took over the company Plus Minus Vision in Foetz, which was founded in 2016 and became part of the Optique Milbert Group under the name PlusMinus by Optique Milbert.
Our customers have always appreciated our knowledge and skills, as well as our service to the customer.
Our services range from advice on the purchase of glasses, to the detailed determination of visual acuity, to the manufacture of your glasses in our own workshop. To ensure that this expertise continues to exist, we spare no effort to pass this on to apprentices as a training company in the craft.
You will find frames from numerous well-known manufacturers such as Silhouette, Porsche Design, Götti, to name but a few. For the lenses we trust in our partners like RODENSTOCK, LEICA, Carl Zeiss, Novacel or Mont-Royal. This allows us to always provide you with the most suitable lens for you as a customer. Throughout the country, the companies of the Optique Milbert Group are EXCLUSIVE suppliers of the DNEye technology from Rodenstock, which allows you the best and most relaxed vision at a distance as well as at close range. Only through the use of our DNEye scanners is it possible to record the entire visual defect of the eye and to incorporate these values into the production of your lenses.
Another branch of our activity is the fitting and sale of contact lenses. Only a professionally fitted contact lens will allow you to enjoy wearing contact lenses for a long time. We have a large stock of ALCON Dailies Aquacomfort Plus, ALCON Dailies Total-1 , as well as Coopervision Options-1Day Oxy. Our contact lens suppliers also include Hecht contact lenses, Wöhlk contact lenses, Mark'Ennovy, Bausch&Lomb and many others.
The assortment ranges from soft daily and monthly lenses, through oxygen permeable hard lenses, to special lenses for keratoconus and other pathological changes of the cornea. To accomplish this, we use our OCULUS keratograph, which allows us to create a real topographical map of your cornea and to adjust the contact lenses accordingly.
If your vision is declining, you will also find an assortment of hand magnifiers, illuminated magnifiers, stand magnifiers and other magnifying vision aids. Also from Eschenbach you will find a selection of binoculars and other optical devices.
