Geographical location: The heart of Volnay next to the Clos de la Barre and under the Clos des Ducs. Its name comes from the fact that it is located between three roads

Soil and environment : Clayey-limestone soil of mid-slope with light grey-brown clay and small white pebbles. The location of the plot at the beginning of a basin, capturing the heat of the sun and keeping it for part of the night, gives much silkier and more supple tannins.

The vineyard: A blend of an old vine of 65 years and younger ones of 15 and 20 years.

The Wine: The wine is always the most rounded, fruity and open of the range, with unique spicy notes. Silky and enveloped attack, finishing on the same register, with little nervousness, acidity, tension. Generally appreciated by the restaurant trade for its immediacy and smoothness.
