IKON Tulipán 2017

After the first vintage of 2008, the winery returned to the classic Bordeaux blend. The finest grapes - half of which are Merlot, plus Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc - were selected from a plot on the top of Diós, behind the winery. After the 28 days of maceration, it spent a little over a year in 225-liter Hungarian oak barrels, a third of which were new. The result is a wine that has posture and character. It is a vibrant, subtly tannic wine with elegant flavors, dark fruits and a touch of chocolate and cigar.
