The BMW E36 Convertible was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1993. A few months later, it was first launched in the USA and then in Europe. The M3 version of the E36 Convertible was launched in 1994. Initially with a 3.0-liter engine, then from 1996 with a 3.2-liter engine producing 321 hp! This E36 M3 Cabriolet was a worthy successor to the emblematic E30 Cabriolet. It went down in the history of German car manufacturers as a commercial and popular success.
