In the 90s, car manufacturers dared to do almost anything. When Renault came up with the idea of "converting" the Clio 2, the result was the impressive Clio V6: a small city car with a V6 engine and a widebody kit worthy of the R5 Maxi Turbo! Phase 1 of the Clio V6 was launched in 1999. It may have won over the public, but journalists and drivers were disappointed. The partnership with TWR, a Formula 1 team at the time, was not necessarily crowned with success, but the French racer managed to win over the public!
