LGB 26846 Steam Locomotive IV K DCC Sound MFX 1:22.5Between

1892 and 1921, a total of 96 locomotives of the Saxon IV K were built, including the number 145 in 1908. At the DRG, it was given the road number 99 555, with which it was also used by the DR. In 1962, the locomotive was reconstructed, including a new boiler, driver's cab and water tanks. The locomotive remained in service until 1973, but was then set up as a memorial rather than being scrapped. In 2002, it was brought to Bertsdorf and restored to its original condition as number 145 of the Royal Saxon State Railway. Since 2009, the 29-ton locomotive has been back in service on the Zittau narrow-gauge railroad, where its 210 hp and top speed of 25 km/h make it suitable for all tasks. However, it is currently being overhauled and it is planned that - when it is back in service - it will be presented with the number 184 together with the wagons of the Saxon freight train. The 184 was also a locomotive that was delivered directly from the manufacturer to Zittau in 1914.

This is a model of the class IV K Meyer locomotive as it is still in use today as a museum locomotive on the SOEG. The paint scheme and lettering are prototypical for Era VI. Drive on all wheel sets with two powerful Bühler motors with ball bearings, traction tires. Equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder with many sound and light functions, headlights that change over with the direction of travel, cab lighting, and smoke unit with wheel-synchronized steam exhaust.
