LGB 25703 Zillertalbahn U2 of the Austrian narrow gauge railwayDCC
SoundZillertalbahn
U2The
Austrian class U steam locomotives were among the most built narrow gauge steam locomotives in Europe. 54 units of this 24 ton, 7.2 meter long locomotive were built between 1894 and 1922 for various narrow gauge railroads in what was then Austria-Hungary. With an output of 225 hp and their top speed of 35 km/h, they met all the requirements placed on them. Even today, some of them are still in service on various museum railroads, including the U2 of the Zillertal Railway, which was built in 1900 and runs between Jenbach and Mayrhofen in Tyrol.
Model of the steam locomotive U2 of the Zillertalbahn in Austria. True to the original paint scheme and lettering of Era VI, as the locomotive is still in service today between Jenbach and Mayrhofen with the historic train. Drive with a powerful Bühler motor on all three sets of driving wheels, traction tires. Completely rebuilt model with new lamps, added boiler attachments, and added etched locomotive signs. Equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder with many functions that can be called up and switched digitally, such as various light and sound functions and a smoke generator with wheel-synchronous steam output. Three-light headlights that change over with the direction of travel, running sounds, and two sounds that can be triggered by means of reed switches will also work in analog operation.
Length over the buffers 34 cm.
The cars for the Zillertalbahn steam train to go with this car set are available under item numbers 33210, 33211, and 32421.
