The A319, the smallest member of the fleet of the US "ultra low-cost airline", is now being followed by a model of the larger A320neo. Spirit already has 82 of Airbus' bestseller in service, replacing older A320s and the remaining, smaller A319s. A further 39 aircraft with 182 seats will follow. In addition, more than 60 larger A321neo aircraft in the strikingly simple yellow and black livery have been ordered from Airbus in order to meet the growing demand.
