In 1958, SGP presented the prototype for diesel-hydraulic narrow gauge locomotives - the later 2095 series. The locomotive is equipped with a 12-cylinder four-stroke engine with 600 hp. The scheduled maximum speed was set at 60 km/h.
The 2095 012 had been stationed at the Gmünd train haulage station since its delivery. For many years, it was the only large diesel locomotive there and was used for freight and passenger services. At the beginning of the 1990s, it was repainted in the Valousek design.
