Class 08 heavy express steam locomotive, with a 2'2'T34-based coal dust tender. Version as an experimental locomotive with coal dust firing for the German State Railroad of the GDR (DR/DDR). Locomotive road number 08 1001. State of operation in the mid-1950s.
Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel mass in the boiler. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender constructed mostly of metal. Smoke generator set from 72270 is standard. Two-light headlights on the locomotive and tender that change over with the direction of travel and a smoke unit installed will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Cab lighting and running gear lighting can also be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. Adjustable coupler with kinematics between the locomotive and tender. The tender has a close coupler with kinematics and an NEM pocket. The locomotive has a minimum radius of 437.5 mm. Brake hoses, heater coupler, and imitation screw coupler are included. Length over the buffers 29.4 cm.
