In the glass dark purple, opaque core. On the nose ripe red berries, hints of vanilla, cedar; Full dense aromas with hints of spices. On the palate dark spices, espresso, chocolate. Impresses with its complexity, very fine tannins, long finish!

PHILOSOPHY
Courageous. Out of passion.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We are passionate about trying out new things in order to develop ourselves and our wines.

It's usually the little things that make a big difference. Like the meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar. Like the well-considered choice of the perfect oak barrel for each of our red wines. Or like the complete abandonment of herbicides, which only makes our vines stronger and our grapes more flavorful.

Red. And white.
A full 80% of our wines are deep, opulent reds. This is due in part to the terroir, which seems tailor-made for full-bodied reds, but also a bit to our great love of Zweigelt, the winery's main varietal. All of them, from Zweigelt to Merlot, are traditionally aged in high-quality barrique barrels. Our fresh, fruity white wines such as Welschriesling or Gelber Muskateller are vinified in modern stainless steel tanks in a manner typical of the variety. Who would like to taste the red and white small wines, is cordially invited.

TERROIR
Sun. In the ground.
The Pannonian climate in the area around Lake Neusiedl is mild and the sun, which shines here more often than anywhere else in the country, causes temperatures to soar rapidly. It is not for nothing that the northern Burgenland is also called the heat pole of Austria. The soils around Andau are poor and mineral, the high percentage of gravel stores the heat of the sun. This special terroir also manifests itself in our wines, with mineral character and excellent fruit.
