The 2018 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes Sélection Parcellaire is composed of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that have been partially destemmed and aged for a third in French oak barrels. It has plenty of sweet black fruit as well as peppery herbs, a light kiss of oak, medium to full body, and a long finish. It should drink well upon release and have a decade of longevity.
