The construction site heavy-duty vehicle and tipper muscle man from Ulm

Now also available at WIKING as a front-drive vehicle flatbed tipper, the Ulm-Münster is emblazoned in the Magirus symbol on the front of the driver's cab. In the 1960s, this is how one recognised the newly presented front-drive vehicle generation of Magirus-Deutz, which had it hard at the beginning to assert itself against the traditional and equally well established Hauber on the construction sites. However, the three-axle tipper quickly reinforced the reputation of the construction site heavy-duty vehicles, especially as under its driver's cab, the thundering Deutz-Diesel unmistakeably made clear where the tipper muscle man got its air-cooled energy from. Lois Lucien Lepoix was responsible for the cubic design, and the nomenclature of the Magirus model series would soon overtake the learned planet names, creating the D-series out of the front-drive vehicle generation.
