WiiM Amp Ultra Anthracite

The WiiM Amp Ultra connected amplifier is a compact and versatile model capable of delivering up to 2 x 200 W at 4 ohms and 2 x 100 W at 8 ohms. Fully featured, it can access most streaming services such as Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon Music or Spotify, and can also stream tracks via Chromecast or Bluetooth. Its comprehensive connectivity allows connecting analog and digital sources, including a TV via HDMI ARC with Dolby Digital support. Control of this connected amplifier is easily performed from its remote control, but also from the WiiM mobile app, vocally thanks to its compatibility with Alexa, Google and Siri, or from its large touchscreen. 

Touchscreen

As the brand\'s flagship, the WiiM Amp Ultra connected amplifier inherits the countless features of the bestseller WiiM Amp while increasing power and bringing an interactive and user-friendly dimension to music thanks to its 3.5-inch color display. Touch-enabled, it makes navigation through the various apps, playback control, playlist management, or the configuration of settings easy. During playback, this screen can display many essential information, including the streaming album art, the track being played, its resolution, etc. 

Up to 2 x 200 W of power 

To push the limits of its bestseller, the WiiM Amp Ultra adopts a supercharged amplification stage based on Texas Instruments TI TPA3255 modules and six TI OPA1612 op-amps to deliver power of more than 2 x 100 W into 8 ohms and 2 x 200 W into 4 ohms. This power is offered with an inaudible distortion of 0.0005 %, a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB and a very high musicality. 

Feedback technology

To deliver flawless musicality, the WiiM Amp Ultra uses an advanced correction technology called PFFB (post-filter feedback). Thanks to it, the amplifier automatically corrects impedance variations of the speakers, where conventional amplifiers may lose performance. The result: cleaner, more balanced and faithful sound, regardless of the speakers used. This yields a wider soundstage, as well as finer and better-defined details. 

Acoustic tuning and calibration 

From its touchscreen or from the WiiM mobile app for iOS and Android, the WiiM Amp Ultra offers a 10-band equalizer and various settings such as the subwoofer output cutoff frequency, phase alignment, activation of the 24 DSP modes or latency for a perfect synchronization between sound and image. Each source can be paired with specific settings for total customization. For even more simplicity, you can perform room and speaker calibration using the microphone of the smartphone on which the WiiM app is used. Analog and digital inputs

The WiiM Amp Ultra connected amplifier also benefits from a complete set of connections to easily pair all your sources. Thanks to the RCA and optical inputs, you can connect a CD player, a pre-amplified turntable or a computer, for example. The HDMI ARC port makes it easy to connect a TV by allowing you to retrieve directly the audio track of the program being watched. Dolby Digital support is ensured. The USB-A port, for its part, enables playback of music files stored on a USB key or an external hard drive.

Streaming services

Once connected to the Internet via home WiFi or Ethernet, the WiiM Amp Ultra provides access to countless streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, or more. This connected WiiM amp also lets you enjoy internet radio thanks to its compatibility with iHeartRadio and TuneIn. In addition to streaming services, the WiiM Amp Ultra can receive music from a smartphone, tablet or computer via Chromecast. Conveniently, the WiiM Amp Ultra also includes a Bluetooth 5.3 receiver for any device not connected to the local network. Additionally, the Bluetooth module is bidirectional, allowing it to also act as a transmitter to enjoy music with a Bluetooth headset or wireless speakers. 

Multiroom

The connected WiiM Amp Ultra can be used alone or integrated into a multiroom group to enjoy music throughout the house. To do this, it allows you to stream music across your home in two different operating modes. If you are using Amazon speakers, you can use the AVS Multiroom technology. The WiiM Amp Ultra can also pair with any other LinkPlay multiroom compatible equipment. You can then stream different music in each room or the same title across the entire house. To suit all your needs, you can easily adjust the volume independently for each zone.
