The disk is yellow, with green reflections that denote a very great age. Such age provides an unusual range of aromas and flavors, with iodine and salt nuances that offset the sweetness (403 gr.) and even the alcohol (18%). It's awfully balsamic, with notes of dry herbs and spices, cigar ash, carob beans (algarrobas), incense and noble woods. The palate is very, very sweet and concentrated, unctuous, dense, with a mellow texture. This goes beyond a glass of wine, a drop of it is like having a piece of cake. 9650 bottles were filled in June 2015. Wine Advocate: 98/100; J. Suckling: 95/100
