Réserve Cuvée is composed of a majority of Pinot Noir (50-55%), the grape variety emblematic of the House Veuve Clicquot, which brings power and structure, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds elegance, freshness and finesse. A touch of Meunier (15-20%) adds roundness and fruitiness. The cuvée is made up of 50 to 60 different crus. Reserve wines, which guarantee the consistency of the House style, make up 40-45% of the blend, depending on the year. The blend of Réserve Cuvée is based on the embodiment of the Veuve Clicquot style, Brut Carte Jaune, but differs in two ways that amplify its aromatic intensity.
