Lotusfeet is a social enterprise that works with artisans in the Philippines.

The company was founded in 2007, with the aim of providing economic security through regular employment and sponsorship. For over ten years, the company has partnered with eight small family businesses and women's cooperatives that collaborate in the design and production of jewelry and fashion accessories, applying fair trade principles and using natural and sustainable materials wherever possible.

After acquiring a wide range of skills and experience in various local artisan businesses, Cristina decided to set up her own family business. With an advance of less than £100, she earned enough money to buy sewing machines and equipment to secure the future of her business.

With the help and support of her husband Gerard, the business has grown dramatically, supporting not only her family but also the local community. Today, she provides employment for some forty neighbors, enabling them to learn new skills and earn extra income, allowing them to stay in their 'barangays' (community).
