Terroir
Just a few hundred meters from the Château de Châteauneuf du Pape, this pebbly terroir is typical of the appellation, allowing heat to be stored during the day and released at night, ensuring excellent grape ripeness.
Cultivation
Integrated cultivation method, respecting the soil and the plant.
Mechanical tilling of the soil ensures good aeration and encourages the soil's microbial life. Trellising ensures good aeration and better ripening of the grapes.
Manual de-budding helps control plot yields.
Harvest
Attentive to optimal grape ripeness, the harvest is entirely sorted by hand in the winery. The entire harvest reception chain has been designed to respect the integrity of the raw material.
Vinification
Vinification in temperature-controlled vats, with lightly crushed and de-stemmed grapes.
Remontages, délestages and pigeages extract color and phenolic compounds, and bring out the best in the terroir. Vatting time: 28 to 35 days, at 28° maximum.
