I love the creations of Iris Nijenhuis, who has developed jewelry by experimenting with laser cutting. She has developed a technique in which fabric (or artificial leather) is cut into small puzzle pieces that form the basis of her design process.

By manually connecting the puzzle pieces, shapes and structures are created.

Artificial leather, scuba and neoprene are laser-cut, washed and dried, then assembled piece by piece into necklaces, bracelets or earrings.

This ultra-light necklace in artificial leather can be worn like a collar, like a second skin.

Magnificent! And you'll love them too, given the huge success at pop-ups and designer markets at the end of 2019.
