The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - Nintendo Switch

Originally released on Wii in 2011, this adventure has been optimized for the Nintendo Switch and offers even smoother motion controls, as well as, for the first time, button controls.

Tracing the oldest story in the Zelda game chronology, the title follows Link, who must travel between a world above the clouds and the vast unknown lands that lie beneath their surface to reunite with his childhood friend Zelda. Armed with his sword and shield, Link will embark on an epic journey and must be ready to cross swords with formidable foes, solve fiendish puzzles, and ride the skies atop a Loftwing.

Play with two Joy-Con controllers to control Link's arsenal: swing the right Joy-Con so it performs the same motion with his sword, and use the left Joy-Con to raise his shield and block enemy attacks. Many other actions, such as shooting arrows or throwing bombs, also rely on motion controls to ensure full immersion.

This Nintendo Switch version also introduces button controls for the first time, letting you enjoy the game in handheld mode or on a Nintendo Switch Lite. By using these controls, you can control Link's sword by tilting the right stick to choose the direction in which he should strike.
