In mechanical filtration, however, a filter fleece removes the finest suspended particles or algae from the water. And the best part: With replaceable filter cartridges you avoid the tedious cleaning of the filter. The cartridges are easy to insert without getting your hands wet. For optimal water quality you should replace the cartridges every four weeks. One replacement filter cartridge is included in the set.
