Sunline Siglon PE ADV 20lb

The Siglon PE ADV is an eight braided line (8 Braid), which is an extension of the well-known Siglon PE. The Siglon PE ADV uses the brand new DRT (= Deep Resin Technology) developed by Sunline. Sunline is the first line producer with a technology of this kind in the industry!

With this technology, a special resin is pressed deep into the individual fibers and their interstices, which are created during the braiding process. The resin ensures that the Siglon PE ADV has excellent values in terms of reliable load-bearing capacity, abrasion resistance and smoothness. This special treatment with special resins also provides excellent water repellency.

This water repellency ensures that the Siglon PE ADV not only absorbs and transports little water, but that it literally rolls off the surface of the cord. Sunline thus ensures that the casting characteristics and the achieved casting distances are not negatively affected in use.

The very good casting distances are also achieved by the smooth and even line surface. A smooth line (and an 8 Braid in particular) is not only extremely quiet in the rings, due to the reduced friction it can also be cast particularly well and far.

Last but not least, DRT (Deep Resin Technology) also improves the abrasion resistance of the line. This means that the individual fibers are more resistant to contact with structures under water (vegetation, stones, etc.).

Due to the increased robustness, it can be fished well on baitcasting reels in addition to being used on spinning. Quite 8 Braid typical, the direct connection to the bait and thus the transmission via bites and ground contacts is excellent with the Siglon PE ADV.
