Acid granules for lowering the pH value. APPLICATION: pH - (minus) is used to lower the pH value. The pH value of the water is one of the most important factors for optimum utilization of the disinfectants that are subsequently used. To lower the pH value, pH minus is used and to raise the pH value, pH plus is used. A deviation of the pH value from its optimum range increases the necessary dosing quantities of other products or reduces the effect of the substance used. The sooner the pH value is in the correct range, the longer the bath water will remain stable. DOSAGE: A prerequisite for perfect pool care is to check and correct the pH value every six months to between 7.0 and 7.4. The measurement can be carried out using test strips (quicker) or tablets (more accurate). Warmer water tends to have a higher pH value. Dosing is preferably carried out before or after bathing. The filter system should remain in operation for at least 2 hours after addition in order to achieve an optimum effect. The optimum chlorine value is 0.3-0.6 mg/l continuous chlorination and max. 3 mg/l shock chlorination. To reduce an excessively high pH value to the optimum value of 7.2 by 0.1, add 100g (approx. 75ml)/10m³ to the pool water. For a pool the size of 20m³ and a pH value of 7.8, you need to add 1,200g (approx. 900ml) of pH-Minus. It should be added in small portions before the inlet nozzle or by dissolving it beforehand. Adding via the skimmer upstream of the filter should be avoided. After a large addition, a control measurement should be carried out the next day. If the water is very hard, higher quantities and consumption may be necessary. Always read the label and product information before use.
