Over time, mud forms on the bottom of every pond, whether from leaves, leftover feed, or fish waste. These waste products can lead to putrefaction. The water becomes cloudy, smells unpleasant, and the pond can suffer damage. With TeichschlammEntferner you can free your garden pond from organic sludge and deposits — easily and without a sludge vacuum! TeichschlammEntferner is twice as effective with activated oxygen and clear-water bacteria — and lasts up to 8 weeks! Component A (purely mineral): Reduces organic pond sludge. Through the patented mineral combination, the sediment layer is actively oxidized and thus broken down. Heavy metals and other substances hazardous to fish as well as phosphates, the nutrients for algae, are bound. The result is a visibly thinner sludge layer and effective prevention of algal blooms. Putrid odors are neutralized immediately. Component B (purely biological): Bacteria ensure clear water. The highly active microorganisms immediately begin breaking down sludge, dead algae, plant debris, leaves and fish toxins. They thus ensure clear, healthy pond water. Did you know? TeichschlammEntferner typically removes as much sludge as would normally accumulate in a year. Our application and dosage recommendations: Pre-mix the recommended amounts of both components with water, mix well, and distribute over the pond with a watering can. For optimal results at water temperatures of 8 °C and higher. Turn off UV lamps during application and for 48 hours afterwards. 45 g of Component A and 5 g of Component B per 1,000 liters of pond water. For particularly heavy sludge deposits, use double the dose.
