Everything about this artistic stool shines, from the ChiChi furniture velour fabric to its excellent workmanship. It is stable and yet pleasantly soft. This creative stool has a handcrafted frame made of FSC-certified birch plywood with a fireproof foam insert and is ideal for putting your feet up or sitting comfortably on. It is also suitable as a side table next to a chair or sofa. Either way, this unusual piece will liven up any room. The fire-retardant ChiChi furniture velour fabric has a soft and lush pile and a slight sheen that beautifully accentuates the design.

The painting on the top of the stool is by Jean-Pierre Calteux (1911-1983), one of the most famous and popular Luxembourg artists of his time. The painting on the outside is by his granddaughter Christiane Kirsch.

HOW WE MAKE YOUR SEATING CUBE

Contrado (my production partner) uses only the best processes and materials. Their experienced craftsmen build the frame from FSC-certified birch plywood so that it is particularly stable and resilient. Fire-resistant foam padding is added to ensure a soft and comfortable seat. The design is printed onto the velour fabric using environmentally friendly inks and a sublimation process. This allows the dyes to bond with the material, making it soft to the touch and the colors bright and bold. Contrado's craftsmen cover the foam and frame with the fabric and add a black lining on the underside. Finally, they attach four small felt feet to the underside so that your stool stands securely. After that, it's all yours.

CARE INSTRUCTIONSYou

can take care of your seat cube by cleaning it occasionally. If it gets dirty or something is spilled on it, clean the surface with a damp cloth. Once it is dry, you can brush over the velour fabric to make the fibers look like new.
