Mishky trains and employs women, mainly from low-income communities. Many of their artisan weavers are single mothers who have enrolled in the company's Mi mamá para mí (My mother for me) program, an initiative that encourages women to work from home to provide nurturing care, parental guidance and support for their children while earning a sustainable income.
