'Schnellmixtion' is a quick application oil that is ready for applying metal leaf after approx. 15 minutes after brushing in. Gilding is still possible after approx. 48 hours. Schnellmixtion should not be used as an application oil for gold leaf, as the risk of moisture penetrating the gold leaf (due to its thinness) is very high. This results in matt spots on the gilding.
