Description

Linseed oil cold snaked

The cold beaten linseed oil from the company Schmincke is natural and degummed linseed oil from the first pressing. It is a binder additive for oil paints and oil auxiliaries. Linseed oil for rubbing non-white oil paints.

Processing instructions:

  • Binder additive for oil paints and oil auxiliaries.
  • Binder for rubbing on non-white oil paints. (The amount of oil required depends strongly on the type and amount of pigment to be rubbed in. Pre-test!)
  • Linseed oil, cold beaten dries somewhat slower than linseed oil, purified (50015).
  • The product yellows somewhat more than linseed oil, cleaned (50015).
  • The product is ready for use, but can be diluted with e.g. turpentine substitute (50019) if necessary.
  • Clean tools immediately after use with turpentine oil (50024 / 50102) or turpentine substitute (50019) or brush cleaner (50051 / 50052).
