Marquise de Pompadour princess dress

The costume you have in front of you is inspired by the dress of Madame de Pompadour in the portrait by François Boucher.

Neckband, falbalas and ribbons, all these details are present to respect the historical character of the garment. 

The dress is made of polyester taffeta in turquoise blue/green tones close to the colors of the painting.

This makes this fabric very comfortable to wear and easy to wash.

The neckband is pink, with a bow matching the 3 central bows and the small bows on each sleeve. A small tulle braid decorated with small roses is sewn along the front. The bottom of the sleeves and the top of the stomach piece are in white lace.

We've added a few little tips to help young girls get the most out of their clothes and play freely. The stomach piece, lower arms and lower sleeves are stretchy, allowing great freedom of movement and easy adjustment to all sizes.
