These wines form the upper edge of our farm. Single vineyard Blaufränkisch of old plants, deeply rooted in the so special (not to say unprecedented) soil structures of Deutsch Schützen and Eisenberg. Origin
The vineyards are located in the middle of the Ried "Weinberg" in Deutsch Schützen. Humus-rich, deep ferruginous loam at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation in vats, pressing after 25 days, malolactic fermentation, and 22 months of aging in large wooden barrels. Unfined and unfiltered.
