Food mix for tortoises

Feed mix with a low protein and high crude fiber content especially for grass-, foliage- and flower-eating species that eat a vegetarian diet such as tortoises and Uromastyx.

INGREDIENTS: Dandelion powder, nopal cactus powder, grass, alfalfa meal, pea meal, dried potato, hibiscus flower, stabilized rice meal, flaxseed meal, coarse corn meal, dried seaweed meal, dried brewer's yeast, calcium carbonate, Sugar cane molasses, lecithin, dried kelp, locust bean gum, potassium citrate, malic acid, guar gum, rosehip, calendula flower, marigold flower, paprika, seaweed extract, turmeric, calcium propionate and potassium sorbate as preservatives, natural fruit flavor, rosemary extract, magnesium amino acid chelate, zinc methionine hydroxy chelate, manganese methionine hydroxy chelate, copper methionine hydroxy chelate, selenium yeast, potassium iodide, vitamins (vitamin A, vitamin D, choline chloride, calcium L-ascorbyl-2-monophosphate, vitamin E, niacin, beta-carotene, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, folic acid, biotin, vitamin B12).

GUARANTEED CONTENTS: crude protein min. 15%, crude fat min. 3%, crude fiber max. 30%, water content max. 8%, crude ash max. 9%, calcium min. 1.5%.

DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION: To one part GRASSLAND GRAZER, add 3 parts water in a microwaveable container and stir until the mixture is homogeneous. Put the mixture in the microwave until it begins to boil, remove the mixture (CAUTION the vessel may be hot) from the microwave and stir again. Alternatively, you can bring water to a boil and then add the powder. Let the mixture cool or pour the hot mixture GRASSLAND GRAZER directly into small bowls and let the mixture cool there until it is solid. The finished feed gel can be cut into small cubes or fed whole. GRASSLAND GRAZER that is not used immediately should be treated as fresh feed. Therefore, the mixed feed should be stored in the refrigerator where it can be kept for up to two weeks. If you want to freeze the feed mixture, the shelf life increases up to 6 months.
