Petromax Dutch oven ft12

The original Petromax fire pot ft12, often referred to as a Dutch oven, is ideal for cooking and baking outdoors or in the oven at home. Cast iron pots have been around since the 18th century. Thanks to the excellent properties of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is efficiently stored and transferred. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes initial seasoning unnecessary and the robust Dutch oven can be used immediately. It can be used outdoors on an open fire or with charcoal. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal on the Dutch oven. This means that the Dutch oven is heated from all sides and is also suitable for baking bread, for example. A robust handle allows the Dutch Oven to be lifted safely, three feet give the Dutch Oven a secure stand and a thermometer feed-through makes it possible to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. In the tall, medium-sized ft12 version with feet, the Dutch Oven has a capacity of approx. 7.5 liters. This allows you to prepare meals for 8 to 14 people. In the ft12 version, the Dutch Oven has a capacity of approx. 10.8 liters. This means that dishes for up to 20 people can be prepared.
