Copper, brass and bronze change over time. The process of patina formation will take its course, and the jewel will change. This process is accelerated by contact with, for example, perfumes, skin creams, hair sprays and acidic skin pH values. The degree of tarnishing (oxidation) depends on the wearer's skin type and care habits.

* An abrasive sponge is included with every jewel. It can be used to easily remove discolorations and scratches. It's best to work on the jewelry using circular movements. You can also treat jewelry with vinegar essence or lemon juice. Soak the jewel in the liquid and wait a few seconds - within seconds, the discoloration dissolves and the copper/bronze/brass becomes lighter again. Please treat the jewel only briefly with vinegar essence and do not leave it in overnight, as it will then become dull. Rinse with clean water and dry with a towel.
