Umbrella 'L'Alzette au Grund', by Charlotte Wood

Charlotte Wood is a Scottish freelance illustrator based in Luxembourg. She creates unique, characterful illustrations by blending traditional and digital techniques. Pens and inks, watercolors, acrylics, as well as colored papers, are her main media.

Her work draws inspiration from the natural world, an influence rooted in her childhood spent in the Scottish Highlands. Charlotte often incorporates found objects from nature into her creations to bring beautiful textures to life. She also draws deep inspiration from the Impressionist movement, admiring especially their use of color, their sensitivity, and their experimental approach to translating their vision of the world.
