The Pikes Peak race is the most famous hill climb in the world. It is often referred to as the "Race to the Clouds" and has been held since 1916. It attracts numerous famous drivers and a wide range of manufacturers. In 2023, Alpine will tackle the legendary route with Raphaël Astier at the wheel. The car with the characteristic design for this event was a heavily modified version of the Alpine A110 GT4. With a power output of 500 hp and a weight of just 950 kg, the car completed the 19.93 km circuit with its 156 bends in 9 minutes and 17.412 seconds. This impressive performance secured it a respectable third place in the Open category, behind two electric vehicles.
