Noike Wobble Shad 3" Fire Tiger

The Noike Wobble Shad 3" is an action shad that catches reliably on the jig head and all finesse mounts. This perch lure is the result of months of intensive development work by us and our Japanese partner NOIKE. The Noike Wobble Shad 3" is a classic action shad that we developed together with our Japanese partner Noike and perfected over a period of more than a year.

The goal with this perch bait was to design a rubber fish whose tail swings extremely far from left to right when swimming. With the Wobble Shad, we have succeeded in creating exactly this special swimming action, which we have christened "Strong Wobble Action" and which gives the perch lure its name.

With it, we want to imitate a panicked escape attempt of small prey fish. If you look closely at a fish during such an escape movement, you can see that it flaps its tail with all its strength. This powerful tail flap, which triggers the predator's natural hunting reflex, is then transmitted into the water in the form of strong vibrations, which are passed on to the predator's lateral line organ as an additional impulse.

We are convinced that this mix of strong vibrations under water and natural escape movement has an extremely positive effect on the catchability of a rubber fish.

The outer silhouette of the lure is based on an asymmetrical ring geometry. This special design allowed us to save a good bit of weight to begin with, so our perch lure can be used on an L fishing rod with a casting weight of about 7g without any problems. Because its ribs are very pronounced, the Wobble Shad appears much more voluminous to the fish than the solid core inside, which significantly controls the running behavior, really is. It thus represents a rewarding prey for the predatory fish without being too bulky.

The belly ribs of the rubber lure are tilted in the direction of swimming, so that they act as a kind of keel that extremely stabilizes the run of the lure. This design also causes the offset hook to push out cleanly when the bass lure is used on one.

If the ribs were attached straight to the belly, they would not push cleanly away during the bite, or strike, as some would be pressed toward the head and some toward the tail. Thus, they would partially interlock with each other. Thanks to our asymmetrical design and tipped ribs, this is exactly what doesn't happen as they press evenly and more easily against the body of the lure, allowing the hook to exit easier and also further.

To perfect this process, our perch bait is minimally slotted in 3 places on the belly. When using a NOIKE Baby Hook or NOIKE Trap Hook in size #1, the hook bow sits ideally within these 3 fine slots.

On the back there are also prefabricated slots for use on the offset hook. These are much more pronounced than on the belly. Thus, the rubber fish can be mounted completely weed-free, without the need to additionally sink the hook tip in the bait, if it is to be fished with him between branches, herbs or other vegetation.

The asymmetrical ring geometry also has an influence on the fish's perception. They cause the rubber fish to appear different from every angle. A smooth lure with its clear, straight lines looks the same from all angles. The Wobble Shad breaks this straightness with its unclear exterior, so that it always looks different - no matter from where you look at it. This makes it particularly interesting for the predator fish.

Another advantage is the additional turbulence created by this design, as unlike a smooth lure, the water cannot simply flow past the ribs.

As a perch bait, the rubber bait is optimized for use on the jig head, in which we have chosen a slightly thickened head area. This allows the rubber fish to be easily fished on jigs without a thick shaft, without tearing open directly when reeling.

It can also be presented on all finesse mounts. Whether Texas or Carolina Rig, Drop Shot, on the Jika Rig, Split Shot, completely weightless or as a trailer on the Rubber Jig: We have designed our perch bait so that it works perfectly on each of these rigs and reliably delivers fish!

Of course, the bait is heavily impregnated with the noiketypical Biteguts aroma and additionally salted. The salt content is higher in the belly area than on the back, so this further stabilizes the perfect run on all mounts.
