Originating from Pérou, Millonario XO rum is produced in a distillery that is over a century old. Despite the great age of this place of production, the Millonario brand only became known in the years 2008-2009 when it was rewarded with prestigious international awards.
Millonario XO rum is a rum made from sugar cane molasses grown on volcanic soil.
The distillation of this rum is carried out in old Scottish column stills. The rum is then aged in American oak barrels, barrels that have contained Bourbon and Sherry of high quality and according to the well-known Spanish method, called Solera. This Millonario XO comes from a blend of rums aged for 12 to 20 years.
