Prototype: German Federal Railroad(DB) class 50 heavy freight locomotive with a 2'2'T26 tender in a Christmas design. Version with Witte wind deflectors. Used for heavy freight trains. Era IIIb condition, road number 50 2412.

Model: The model has been extensively reworked. Bell-type armature motor with drive on all coupled axles. Dark wheel rims and linkage parts. New complete functional linkage/control system. Reproduction of the brakes, rail scrapers, Indusi. Enlarged buffer plates. Prototypical paint scheme and lettering.
Length over buffers approx. 109 mm. Packaged in a real wood box. A "Jingle Bells" music module is included in the box. The melody sounds when the box is opened.

The model complements the previously released Christmas cars to form a complete train.
