The Central Station 3 plus is a multi-protocol control unit with a high-resolution, modern color touch screen, 2 speed controllers, and an integrated central track diagram control panel. It provides easy and convenient control of locomotives and the entire layout.The Central Station 3 plus can only be used in conjunction with the 60041 switching power supply (60101 for track 1 and L51095 for LGB) (not with transformers such as 60052). Switching power supply not included.

The Central Station 3 plus, as a multi-protocol control unit, with its high-resolution, modern color touch screen, the 2 speed controllers as well as the integrated central track diagram control panel, offers the possibility for simple and convenient control of the locomotives and the entire layout.

For locomotives up to 32 functions can be switched, for accessories up to 320 Motorola or 2048 DCC solenoids are possible.

Furthermore, the Central Station 3 plus has 2 built-in locomotive card readers (for storing locomotive data on a locomotive card or for quickly calling up the locomotive by inserting the locomotive card), an SD card slot for memory expansion, and an integrated loudspeaker for playing sounds typical of model railroading.

A powerful booster is integrated to supply the system with traction and switching current.

The Central Station 3 plus is multi-device capable, i.e. with the optional cable (60123) several Central Station 3 plus (60216) with respective network connection can be operated together on one layout. Additional driving consoles, further layouts and keyboards extend the operation of the plant, whereby common and separate configurations for the plant areas to be controlled can be kept in the Central Station 3 plus.

The Central Station 3 plus has an integrated s88 connection, 2 built-in USB hosts (for e.g. mouse, keyboard, USB stick), a USB charging socket, a network connection for communication with a PC, connections for 2 Mobile Stations, a connection for external speakers as well as others for the Märklin bus system. Load capacity at the connecting track: max. 5 A, load capacity at the programming track: max. 1.2 A. The Central Station 3 plus can only be used in conjunction with the 60041 switching power supply (60101 for track 1 and L51095 for LGB) (not with transformers such as 60052). Using the switching power supply 60041 results in a maximum output power of 58 VA and a maximum current of 3 A (60216 with switching power supply 60101/L51095 results in a maximum current of 5 A, recommended exclusively for track 1/LGB. Please be sure to observe the cable cross-section larger than 0.5 mm²).
