This endearing painting of Renert is by Margot Calteux, the daughter of Jean-Pierre Calteux (1911-1983), one of the most well-known and beloved Luxembourgish artists of his time. He studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg and won the Strasbourg City Prize in 1932.
