Description

The Levenhuk Halo 20X PLUS telescope is designed for daytime and nighttime observations. This mini device features a variety of settings and offers the user numerous possibilities to operate both in daylight and in complete darkness.

In addition to the standard color image by day and the black-and-white image at night, you can obtain two more image types using special visual effects: 'leuchtendes Grün' and 'Farbfilm'. You can also enable the black-and-white mode for daytime observations. The telescope has a digital magnification that can be set from 1x to 8x. The field of view is 10°, and the telescope itself is very small and has a small lens. The minimum focusing distance is 3 m.

The telescope features an enhanced night vision mode that produces an image twice as bright as the normal night vision mode. The infrared illuminator has a total of 7 operating levels. The desired level is manually set depending on the ambient light. In complete darkness, the device's range is 250–300 m; in low light there are no restrictions on the viewing range.

The telescope has an integrated recorder for taking photos and videos day and night. You can also apply visual effects to them. The recording results are stored on a microSD card: photos in JPG format and videos in AVI format. You can view them on the device itself or on a computer by inserting the memory card or by connecting the telescope to a PC via a USB Type-C cable.

For users with short- or far-sighted vision, the telescope has a diopter adjustment ring. For focusing at a specific distance there is a focusing ring: these elements ensure that the image remains clear and sharp. The housing of this model is made of plastic and metal and is coated with a silicone layer. The IP54 rating means that the device can be used in dusty environments and near splashing water. The telescope can be used at ambient temperatures from −20 to +50 °C, with a storage temperature range between −30 and +60 °C.

Power is supplied by an internal rechargeable battery. Charging is via USB Type-C. The charging progress is shown by the indicator light: When the light is red, the device is charging. When the light is off, the device is fully charged and ready for use. A full charge provides up to 13 hours of operation in daylight mode and 5 hours with the infrared illumination on, including an auto shut-off feature.

Please note: IR illumination (infrared radiation) may be detected by photo- and video cameras and other similar electronic devices during operation.
