Description

Description

The Levenhuk Fatum Z500 thermal imaging spotting scope impresses with its balanced performance and reliability. It can be used for all outdoor activities: night patrols, security and search operations, hunting, forestry, hiking, and sports. It has a compact form factor, is easy to transport, sits well in the hand, and can even be used in poor weather.

The instrument has a magnification of 1.7x to 6.8x, and the digital magnification is continuous and offers more freedom during observation. The microbolometer array has a resolution of 400x300 pixels and offers a total of 6 color palettes. There is a hotspot detection function.

In terms of detection ranges and distance measurement, the thermal imaging scope performs very well. Large objects, such as a car, can be detected at distances of up to 1700 m, and classic hunting targets (wild boar, deer, etc.) at 450–590 m. A target can be illuminated with a laser rangefinder; its range is limited to 200 m.

The power source is a block of two permanently mounted, rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 6000 mAh. They allow intensive use of the thermal imaging scope for up to 5 hours. Design features include a tripod mount (1/4-inch thread) and a waterproof housing (IP66).

The thermal imaging scope is equipped with an integrated recorder; the storage for video recordings and photos is 16 GB. There is also a rangefinder that lets you determine the distance to various objects. This feature is especially helpful for camping and hunting. The instrument has an integrated micro HDMI port, a Type-C port, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connecting to external devices. The thermal imaging scope supports the TargetIR mobile app, which allows you to adjust settings, organize photo and video galleries, or display images on a smartphone screen to show to others.
