The Levenhuk Halo 13X digital night-vision binoculars are perfect for observing in complete darkness. They are ideal for observing in suburbs and natural landscapes as well as for exploring an unknown area. They are indispensable for ensuring safety on a long hike. Conveniently, they can also be used for daytime observations like a regular binocular. This way you only need one observation device on the go.

Night range: up to 300 meters

The optics consist of glass with a silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating. This makes the optics more efficient in complete darkness and delivers a sharper and higher-contrast image. By day you can view any objects from a distance of three meters and more. At night the viewing distance is 300 meters. To improve visibility, switch on the adjustable LED IR illumination. Turn off the backlight completely to save battery power. The brightest illumination provides the best image details. Please note that the instrument can produce a color image, a black-and-white image, a bright-green image, or an image with a color-film effect. The color image is not available when night mode is activated.

Integrated photo and video recorder

With the device you can not only observe but also record videos and take photos. The image resolution for a photo is 2048x1536 pixels. If needed (to save space on the memory card) it can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. With a frame rate of 30 frames per second, the videos are smooth. Normally 24 frames per second are enough, but with the Levenhuk Halo 13X the frame rate is higher for a more comfortable video viewing. It is also convenient that you can view the recordings directly on the device’s screen. The binoculars support memory cards up to 32 GB. You can transfer the images to a computer via a USB cable.

Up to 10 hours of continuous operation without battery replacement

The electronics and optics are housed in an ergonomic, splash-proof, weather-resistant housing with a non-slip surface. This makes the binoculars comfortable to hold. When you pick it up, the control buttons are directly under your fingers. The device is user-friendly, and navigation through the menu is very comfortable. The night-vision instrument runs on standard AA batteries or rechargeable NiMH cells. We recommend carrying an extra set so the device does not shut down at the most inopportune moment. This is unlikely, as a set of standard batteries or rechargeable batteries is enough for 4–10 hours of continuous operation. The battery life depends on the intensity of the backlight.

Please note: IR illumination (infrared radiation) can be detected by photo- and video cameras as well as other similar electronic devices during operation.
