The microscope features a classic monocular head with a wide-field eyepiece providing 10x magnification. The head can rotate 360° and is inclined at 45°. A proven design that is also suitable for group studies and longer observations.
The nosepiece holds up to four objectives. Thanks to the achromatic optics, they deliver a particularly sharp and high-contrast image without color fringes. An objective with 100x magnification enables observations using immersion oil. A vial of immersion oil is included in the set.
The mechanical stage is equipped with a practical mechanical scale, which proves very useful when working with slides. Focusing is performed via coarse and fine adjustment on the body.
The illumination system consists of a halogen lamp under the stage as well as an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. With light filters, image contrast can often be significantly improved. A blue filter is included in the set. The illumination system is powered from mains, and brightness can be adjusted as needed.
