Description

Description The Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M Digitales Mikroskop, Moonstone is a perfect gift for students. You can perform many interesting experiments with prepared slides – or with everyday objects that spark the interest of the young researcher. With the included digital camera you can record and document your study results. Even beginners in the world of research can take truly impressive photos and videos and share them with friends on Facebook or Instagram.

High-quality optics
The lenses are made of a special optical glass with high transparency. All optical surfaces are coated with an anti-reflective multi-layer coating. Therefore the microscope delivers sharp, high-contrast, and detailed images of the prepared samples. The three objectives cover a wide magnification range from 40x to 400x. To change magnification, simply rotate the objective turret.

Camera features
The microscope comes with a high-quality 0.3-megapixel digital camera. The camera is installed in place of an eyepiece in the eyepiece tube and connected to a computer with the included USB cable. Enlarged images of the observed samples are displayed on the computer monitor. This is much more convenient than looking through an eyepiece. In addition, you can take beautiful photos and videos of the observed samples. Almost every researcher wants to share their findings with others – and with the Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M Digitales Mikroskop, Moonstone, this is now very easy. Want to post something truly interesting and informative on Facebook? Enlarged images of a sugar crystal or videos of bustling brine shrimps are exactly what you need.
A USB cable powers the camera and provides the connection to a PC. Compatible operating systems: Windows.

Observing transparent and opaque samples
The microscope is equipped with two LED illumination systems. The lower illumination enables observation of transparent samples such as microorganisms in a drop of water or thin sections of plant tissue. The upper illumination allows observation of opaque objects – such as leaves, coins, textiles, paper and more. And if semi-transparent objects are to be observed, both illumination sources are required. Brightness can be adjusted for a better view of each individual sample.

Practical design
The microscope housing is made of high-quality plastic. It is much lighter than metal, yet very reliable and suitable for frequent use. The 45° angled monocular head enables a particularly comfortable posture while observing. The illumination can be powered by mains or by batteries. The digital camera is powered via USB from the computer.
WARNING: In most European countries the mains voltage is 220–240 V. If the device is used in a country with a different mains voltage, a voltage converter must be used.
The package includes everything needed for a journey into the microcosm.
The microscope includes a Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit. The kit contains everything a budding biologist could wish for – from ready-made slides to special instruments for preparing your own samples. The accompanying booklet contains all necessary information about the microscope, recommendations and tips for use as well as experiment descriptions.
