The classic yellow onion is the most popular and widely used in the kitchen. It has a light brown to golden yellow color and its flesh is white and firm. They are perfect for stews or as a basic ingredient in soups and sauces. When cooked, their hue becomes darker and acquire a sweeter taste. The onions are sold in packages of 500g and more.
