Description

The plain-colored LÄSSIG fishing hat made of recycled polyester ensures carefree summer days with its simple design and embroidered details. With a UV protection 80, it protects the sensitive scalp of babies and toddlers in summer and is the ideal complement to the UV swimwear of the LÄSSIG Splash & Fun collection.

The plain sun hat in fisherman style protects the little head, eyes as well as the neck area from the sun. It is equipped with an elastic band at the back of the head and thus offers an ideal fit. So that the hat is not lost in the wind or when romping, it can be tied under the chin.

Its lightweight, breathable and quick-drying material ensures a pleasant wearing comfort on land and in the water. After the outing, the sun hat can be washed at 30 °C on the gentle cycle.

Used plastic has been reused and spun into yarn for each LÄSSIG sun hat. This equates to 7 PET bottles per meter of woven fabric. By using recycled materials and innovative processes, and by not using animal components, LÄSSIG contributes to the circular economy and conserves the resources of this earth.

The LÄSSIG fishing hat with a UV protection of UPF 80 has been tested according to UV STANDARD 801 (Hohenstein).

UV radiation leads to sunburn and skin damage if exposed for too long. This sun protection hat protects only the covered area, other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation must be protected separately, e.g. by applying sunscreen and wearing other UV protective clothing. This headgear does not provide protection against reflected or scattered ultraviolet solar radiation. The actual duration of protection provided by the UV protective clothing depends on the child's skin condition as well as the intensity of the sun's rays. The designated UV protection may be reduced due to normal wear and tear as well as at the seams. In case of damage and wear, please replace sun protective hat or have it professionally repaired. The durability of the protective clothing - even without visible damage - is 6 years from the date of production. Composition, care instructions, size, date of manufacture and UV protection factor can be found on the sewn-in label in the article. Please store the article dry and protected from light. Wash out after each contact with chlorine and salt water. This is UV protective clothing (category I PPE) that meets the essential health and safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/ 425, Annex II. The protective clothing meets the requirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, Protective clothing - General requirements. Material testing is carried out in accordance with UV Standard 801 (based on AS/ NZS 4399:2017).
